Senior Games Programmer - Remote/Hybrid

Auroch Digital is looking for programmers to help create multiple upcoming game projects in several genres. The successful candidate will be working on high-profile projects to create imaginative and engaging games across PC and console platforms.

We have an exciting stable of licensed and independent IP games in development including our upcoming beer brewing hobby game Brewmaster. The Role @ Auroch Digital:
You will be working in a supportive multi-disciplinary team with experienced and junior members alike, writing clear and effective code, planning and researching features to bring our games to reality with a high level of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Bring your experience into the process of planning code architecture, working with programmers and production staff to set tasks for the code team
- Work with programmers and members of other disciplines to plan, research and implement game features
- Identify and fix problems in areas of existing codebases
- Support team members of all disciplines through documentation and tools
- Write clean, coherent code and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing with other programmers
Requirements:
- Significant experience programming games for commercial release using engines like UE4 or Unity, writing code in C++ or C#
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional attitude to games development
- Excellent debugging skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with production staff and other programmers to set task requirements and time estimates
- Ability to help raise the standard of work of other programmers on your team through feedback and support
Desirable:
- Several shipped commercial games as a programmer
- Experience developing for console platforms
- Experience leading a team of programmers
- Experience writing code for Strategy or Management genre games
- Experience building or working with automation in the development pipeline
