Job Description
As a Senior Gameplay Programmer you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing subsystems, as well as designing and implementing new subsystems. The person taking this position will cooperate with designers and other programmers to create gameplay mechanics of the highest quality.
Daily responsibilities
- Maintaining and optimizing existing subsystems for all the platforms.
- Designing and implementing new subsystems.
- Tracking and fixing bugs.
- Completing tasks on time and creating high-quality code.
- Cooperating with game designers in order to design gameplay mechanics.
- Implementing gameplay mechanics.
- Mentoring less experienced team members.
- Cooperating closely with game designers, artists and production staff.
Qualifications
- Perfect C++ skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Proficiency in algorithms and code architecture.
- Debugging and optimization skills.
- Understanding players’ needs in terms of gameplay mechanics in modern video games.
- Ability to easily communicate in English.
- Understanding the components of modern video games (such as behaviour trees, skeletal animation, physics simulation, etc.) and specializing in at least one of them.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in video games development (including at least 3 years in a similar position).
- Experience working on multiple platforms (including at least two of: PC, PS4, Xbox One).
- At least one AAA game shipped.

- Experience with shooters and multiplayer games.
- Being an active gamer.
