At BioWare, our mission is to create worlds of adventure, conflict, and companionship that inspire you to become the hero of your story. Our teams inspire creativity using tech and tools such as the Frostbite engine and work with thousands of developers across EA’s network of studios. We are passionate about games and their potential as a creative medium to reach and inspire people through emotion, artistry, and engaging storytelling. If you share this passion, this is an amazing opportunity to help shape the next generation of gaming.
We are hiring a Senior Analyst at our Austin studio as part of our Studio Data, and Insights (SDI) team. Reporting to an Analytics Manager, you will partner with developers across our portfolio of titles to provide impactful analysis with relevant takeaways for the team.
Our team strives to be the voice of the player by providing insights from a rich landscape of gameplay data. You will partner with designers, product managers, and engineers to establish the data needed from a game to understand how players engage with its features and systems. You will develop dashboards and visualizations which provide a monitor for important game features and business health. You will also work on projects such as player segmentation, retention modeling, path analysis, A/B testing, and more.
Your findings will be shared directly with the development teams, ranging from 1:1 chats up to studio-wide presentations. Many different disciplines will rely on you as a trusted source of information, including Product Management, Game Design, Engineering, Studio Executives, Brand Management, Marketing, and Finance. As part of working with a diverse group of partners, you will gain exposure to different perspectives inside the gaming industry.
