Senior Game Producer, Wild Rift

As Game Producers at Riot, we lead passionate cross-functional teams to create innovative products and experiences that seek to deliver maximum player value. We drive development, smash through obstacles, and push projects across the finish-line. We meet and exceed expectations by helping concept, deliver, enhance, and influence projects at every stage of production.

As a Senior Game Producer for Wild Rift, you'll report into the Production Lead of Wild Rift Shanghai. You will coordinate between Riot narrative team and external partnering developers every release to ensure IP expression related work of every proposed feature will be approved by Riot. You will own established work systems, tools and backlog and make continuous improvements. As a producer delivering value across Wild Rift's many projects, you can gather requirements to understand problems that impact multiple teams/partners throughout the development pipeline and work to existing work systems with a service oriented mindset.

You will be based in Shanghai and your work may involve travel to Shenzhen China.

As a Rioter in China, you'll join a team of internationally and culturally diverse professionals that share our prioritization of player experience, rejection of convention and maniacal passion for gaming.

To reinforce Riot’s collaborative culture in our China offices, we’ve decided to do away with the constraints of traditional hierarchical title structures that are more common in the region. Titles don’t really matter at any of Riot’s offices, but we chose to take this extra step in our China offices to foster a space where teamwork thrives. We believe that removing this constraint will promote individual autonomy, ownership, collaboration, and a focus on results. We promise you won’t need a title at Riot to make an impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage Wild Rift strings/text content to authoritative pivot language ready for outsource localization
• Own the Wild Rift Localization Airtable instance and backlog
• Collaborate with external partnering developers, publishing team and Riot Narrative and IP Strategy Teams to ensure high quality localized player experience in all regions
• Manage requests from external partnering developers to Riot Narrative and IP Strategy Teams to review and approve

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Game Producer or Project Manager in the games industry
• Experience establishing practical work systems
• Experience working with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, Lean)
• Business Fluency in English/Mandarin

Desired Qualifications•

• Genre affinity in free-to-play and MOBA games
• Experience shipping mobile games and managing live operations
