Senior Game Engineer (Unity)

Lumos is looking for a Unity Game Engineer to join the game engineering team. We are passionate about giving our customers a first class experience by creating frictionless, entertaining and robust applications. We’re looking for someone that can help us develop the next generation of Unity-based games, tailor made to train our brains.
YOU WILL
- Drive the development and maintenance of our Unity based games.
- Have a focus on performance by developing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Closely collaborate with game designers and our science department on how best to develop individual games and enrich our current game catalog.
- Implement dynamic difficulty systems to match players' skill levels, while keeping content creation costs low.
- Be a champion of clear documentation and distribution of information regarding architectural choices and processes.
- Be an active participant in shaping and maintaining our culture by suggesting improvements to processes and technologies.
- Be a mentor to more junior game engineers and share your knowledge pro-actively with the broader team.
YOU HAVE
- A consistent track record of creating and launching Unity-based games.
- Strong overall programming background in C#.
- Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Solid proficiency with source control systems such as git.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
- Naturally curious and self-sufficient.
- Great organizational and time management skills.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with CocosCreator, Cocos2D and/or other game development frameworks and engines.
- Experience with game development optimized for web.
- Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin and Flutter).
