We are currently looking for a Senior Game Developer who is skilled in Unity and C#. Able to guide and level-up our developers, while building out new gameplay features and events.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the work of other developers and provide mentorship and support for less experienced teammates
- Hands on implementation of game features and updates with other developers
- Create technical designs for reusable white label systems that meet current requirements and anticipate future needs
- Work with back-end developers for seamless integration of features and live ops
- Build a deep understanding of core systems and architecture to provide quality benchmarking on process, updates and optimizations
- Uphold code quality and code reviews while ensuring features are delivered on time
- Work with the dev team and project manager to estimate and track programming deliverables in JIRA
- Create and maintain TDDs and other technical documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or better in Computer Science
- Minimum 6 years of commercial game programming experience with 2+ in a leadership or co-leadership level role
- Minimum 3 years of game development experience with Unity
- Strong programming skills in Unity and C#
- Broad knowledge of game architecture and technologies
- Good understanding of mobile platforms and hardware
- Experience in social or freemium game economies or SAS equivalent
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and to meet changing deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with debugging, profiling and performance optimizations and ability to coach other devs in these skills
- Experience developing F2P games with a deep understanding of what factors are critical to F2P success from a development perspective
