Senior Game Developer (Unannounced Project)

Job Overview
You will be working on a new, unannounced multiplayer, cross-platform flagship game with a team of highly experienced engineers. You will focus on the session-to-session game cycle (game meta), which encompasses a significant part of the project and includes features such as login, account progression, commerce, quests, statistics, socialization, matchmaking, and many other aspects.
What will you do?
- Develop scalable, reliable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance microservices that support robust multiplayer experiences.
- Implement client-server architecture to ensure efficient and stable communication between game clients and backend services.
- Actively participate in all aspects of game development, from technical design and coding to setting up and deploying game infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members located in different countries, including developers, designers, and testers, to ensure seamless integration of all game components.
- Optimize and maintain the codebase and libraries, focusing on reusability, performance, scalability, and reliability.
What are we looking for?
- Extensive experience in web backend development.
- Extensive experience working with relational databases.
- Strong proficiency in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in C++ development.
- Experience in developing asynchronous and multithreaded applications.
- Ambitions to grow, learn new skills, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in game development.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Passion for video games.
- Experience in working with Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Experience in working with NoSQL databases.
- Experience in working with Kubernetes, Helm, AWS.
- Experience in working with Nginx, HAProxy, Envoy.
- Experience with Rust development.
Work mode
Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
