Senior Game Designer

Playground Games is looking for a Senior Game Designer to join our Fable team.

As a first-party Xbox Game Studio, we are passionate about making genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and, most of all, fun. We are excited to be rebooting the much-loved Fable franchise and are expanding our diverse team to create a new classic in the action RPG genre.

About the role:

As a Senior Game Designer you’ll take responsibility for important sections of the game, delivering design documentation and playing a key role in feature teams.

Reporting to the Associate Lead Game Designer, you will work closely with all disciplines to implement features and systems to the highest standard.

You will be flexible, highly motivated and approachable, you will mentor and help junior teammates and feedback on design team work, and you will act as a champion of quality.

What you will bring:

• A full development cycle in a game design position working on at least one high-profile published console title
• A demonstrable track record of quality in your previous work
• Proven ability to execute on designs and work with other disciplines to deliver high quality implementations
• An ability to develop lasting and productive relationships in a collaborative team with diverse perspectives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine passion for games
