Senior Game Designer

Job Description

What you'll do on a daily basis:

• Design the game feel of our upcoming game and work on the core loop (online action phase).
• Build the design roadmap for future updates, expansions and game mods
• Benchmark gameplay mechanics, using clear documentation and analyzing abilities.
• Analyze the evolution of game metrics in order to detect improvement points and come to actionable conclusions that can be translated into design solutions.
• Coordinate and communicate with the teams in charge of narrative and sound design

Who you'll interact with: You will report to our Lead Designer Adrien, who will guide you in your work and support your professional growth. You will manage the junior GD in the team.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Game Designer on a shipped PC or Console game (preferably an Online action/PVP/PVE/Combat game)
• Strong knowledge of Game Design basic rules (gameplay, game feel, learning curve, directing, difficulty balancing, reward, accessibility…).
• Ability to illustrate and prototype your ideas visually using standard industry production tools (Adobe PS, XD, 3DS Max or Blender, Figma, Sketch-up)
• Ability to use Unity (integration/ modification/ prototyping)
• Excellent level of English (bilingual in French or Spanish is a plus)!
