Senior Game Designer - Brain Training Game

This position can be Paris-based or fully remote within a +/- 2hr time difference with Paris.
Team
You will be part of a small elite team developing new brain training app on mass-market segments. Working closely with our top management, you will drive ideation, fast prototyping, and ultimately scaling new games enjoyed by millions. Role
To achieve our mission, we're launching a new casual studio and bringing on board top talent and seasoned veterans from the mobile games industry. As the Principal Game Designer, you will report directly to the Studio GM and lead the creative development of an innovative brain training project. Your responsibilities will include:
- Define creative vision: Develop and communicate the long-term creative direction for our brain trainer, ensuring alignment with the studio's goals and strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with engineering, art, and product teams to ensure cohesive game development and seamless integration of all elements
- Establish design workflows: Develop and refine processes, methodologies, and tools to foster efficient and innovative game design in a startup environment
- Develop and execute the studio testing strategy: Implement a comprehensive testing and iteration framework to drive data-informed design decisions and player-focused improvements
- Drive player-centric design: Leverage player feedback and market research to refine gameplay and ensure a compelling and satisfying player experience
Profile
- 2+ years of experience as a Game Designer, ideally on a Puzzle or Match-3 game.
- Track record of working with games that achieve long-term player engagement and retention.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and building games with sustained engagement and monetization.
- Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve design excellence and deliver engaging player experiences
- Clear communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Clear and concise.
