Team
Voodoo's Gaming business unit is made up of hyper-casual, hybrid-casual, casual, mid-core and blockchain experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.
You will be part of a great small team looking to create new experiences for our audience beyond the casual market and this is where you come in. Although our studio is situated in Montreal, we embrace a remote options culture, working collaboratively while providing autonomy and flexibility to allow you to manage your success on the team.
Role
- Create beautiful and intuitive mobile games in both 3D and 2D
- Ability to deconstruct and analyze mobile games mechanics
- Work on all aspects of the game (game interface, mockups, icons, optimized assets, and animations)
- Be able to bring new game ideas and features
- Be able to develop your mobile sensitivity
Profile
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a game artist
- Experience working on mobile games
- Experience with both 3D and 2D software, such as Maya or Blender
- Excellent skills in creative clouds, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
- Good knowledge of Unity Engine
- Passionate about finding trends, gameplay, and game mechanics
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
