Senior Game Artist - Blitz

Blitz is a gaming platform launched by Voodoo in 2021, allowing players to compete in mobile games for real cash prizes (head-up, tournaments, leagues, etc.). It is leveraging Voodoo’s unique game portfolio as well as exclusive games crafted for Blitz to engage users in a fun and rewarding way.

Role

• Develop and maintain the overall visual style of Blitz games.
• Leverage your UI and UX knowledge to design usable, useful, and playful features and systems for the game.
• Create and translate wireframes into high-quality art mockups and prototypes.
• Integrate and animate your designs in Unity.
• Closely collaborate with your teammates: contribute beyond your scope to the overall design and development of the game.

Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant position.
• Strong affinities for casual sleek and modern art styles.
• Great fundamental art skills and knowledge of graphic design principles.
• Understanding of User Interface principles for mobile games.
• Mastery of Unity game art, animation, and UI integration pipeline with mobile layout and performance/optimization constraints in mind.
• Proficiency with 2D tools such as Photoshop and the Creative Suite.
• Deep collaboration mindset, including excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive mindset towards receiving, acting on, and giving feedback.
• Accountability, independence, and ownership over your work.
