As a Senior Software Engineer on Engine Productivity Tools, you will develop internal applications, tools, and systems to improve the development, testing, configuration, and release of the Roblox engine. You will be part of a team of full stack engineers working on tools that enhance the productivity of Roblox engineers and the reliability of our applications. If you enjoy working on projects that remove barriers, you will be right at home on our growing Engine team.
You Will:
- Design, build productivity tools that will in turn remove barriers
- Work on high impact projects that reach hundreds of engineers internally.
- Work directly with other teams building telemetry, testing automation, configuration management and telemetry solutions.
- Contribute to a fast-iterating fullstack repository that deploys your work to hundreds in a matter of minutes.
- Work with both your engineering and product (PM) leaders to achieve the vision of a golden path for most engineering workflows.
You Have:
- 4+ years of experience in full stack software development.
- 4+ years delivering sophisticated code with TypeScript, React and C#
- Built phenomenal software at a very high efficiency
- Attentiveness to product UI/UX, and a burning desire to make sure the things you build look and feel phenomenal
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$189,110 — $233,840 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
