Senior Fullstack Developer - New Games

Barcelona Unity Tech is part of Unity@King, which focuses on supporting game teams using the Unity3D engine.

We help teams with technical challenges to let them deliver their products quicker and taking the result and making this available to all other game teams. We work closely with many departments to ensure our teams have the support they need, such as Shared Tech and Central Art.

Your Role Within our Kingdom

Work as part of the Barcelona Unity Tech team (a.k.a. Magnum), supporting New Games teams both in Barcelona and Stockholm alike. You will be working with various technologies to support our game teams.

• Work closely not only with your team, but also with the Game teams, giving support in the form of tools, modules and expertise.
• Own products we ship
• Deliver high quality code and products
• Design, architecture and implement solutions from start to finish
• Share knowledge with the Studio and King as a whole

Skills to Create Thrills

You are passionate for programming and have a sense of quality and polish. As a developer you should be forward thinking and have great analytical thinking. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are a strong team player, able to work in a fast paced, demanding yet fun and professional environment.

Our requirements:- Experience building scalable Backend applications with Java and clients for such Backend applications.

• Experience in Cloud technologies such as K8s
• Familiar with telemetry & dashboarding for applications, both data design and dashboard configuration.
• You have problem- solving mindset and able to work with heterogenous tech.
• You are a team player who likes to discuss solutions and ideas as a group.
• You are keen to grow and develop yourself.
• Be a passionate, but also positive, active and contributing team member.
