We just celebrated our 10th anniversary and our Day 1 mission - to inspire girls and young women, to celebrate the power of sisterhood, and to create a more inclusive gaming environment.
We have become a multi-channel entertainment company; with an independent record label, short-form animations, book series, comics, and mobile apps and we are currently on an adventure to scale our impact in the world with several new games and product lines in development across desktop/mobile.
The team
You’ll become a part of one of our fantastic tech teams building services and web applications to support SSO, such as our:
- WebX team building our new website using Next.js.
- Payment & Transaction team making sure we have highly available and scalable services handling payments on all of our channels.
A look at what you would do
- Develop our services and web applications to continuously bring new features and products to our players
- Build, design, and optimize microservices to bring new functionality to our launchers
- Use modern tech such as AWS , Docker , Github Actions, Serverless
- Continuously improve how we write code, how we test, how we deploy
A look at what we have done in the last quarter
- Released our new website starstable.com using Next.js
- Supported the launch of the game on mobile by building microservices and launcher for iOS
- Rewritten and redesigned large parts of our legacy codebase to microservices
Skills and requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Experienced with both modern Frontend and Backend development
- Familiar with: Python , AWS , React
