Job Description

The team that you will be allocated to handles one of the most important projects within Gameloft, a content distribution platform.

The most prominent platform features are: mobile applications, mobile sites, content management systems, analytics tools, build wrappers. These run on microservices such as: routing, authentication, catalogue, tracking, kpi, search, push notifications, esports and gamification. The deployment process is fully automated for each service within the ecosystem.

As a member of this team you will maintain and develop websites and mobile applications connected to a mesh of cloud microservices which ingest content managed by a modern CMS system.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features for the CMS and mobile sites of a content distribution platform;
• Be involved in both the front and back ends of the services;
• Perform peer reviews;
• Research new technologies and come up with innovative solutions for existing/new tools;
• You will be involved in the deployment process - Continuous Integration;
• You will work in an agile team (SCRUM).

Qualifications

• 5 years experience developing web applications and web services in a medium or large team;
• Experience with the development process - development, testing, code reviews, deployment;
• Proficiency in: JavaScript and PHP;
• Experience with front end frameworks (Angular and React), package managers (Composer and npm);
• Experience with Symfony;
• Proficiency with version control systems, Git;
• Inquisitive, ambitious & self-driven nature;
• Attentive to details;
• Excellent critical thinking skills;
• Fast learner (new languages/technologies) and willing to improve;
• Team player;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Basic knowledge of Unit testing;
• Clean coding skills;
• Fluent in English;
• Passionate about software development;
• Linux;
• Jenkins;
• Devops skills;
• Docker.

Nice to have:

• Cloud services (AWS);
• Jira;
• Postman;
• Gitlab.
