Gearbox Software is looking for a frontend engineer to develop and maintain the tooling for its online services platform. In this role, you’d work closely with backend developers to identify reusable and easy to understand workflows that allow game developers to administer features like cloud playlists, dedicated server management, player inventory and more.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop tooling for platform functionality using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
- Ensure the above is well tested
- Help set technical standards and best practices for this domain
- Work closely with the rest of the team to identify and gain consensus on improvements
- Stay up to date on industry standards
Requirements:
- At least five years of Javascript experience including familiarity with modern ECMAScript
- Extensive experience with REST API integration
- Experience with the Angular framework
- Up to date on latest CSS and HTML specifications
- Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools
- Familiarity with instrumentation
Bonus Points for:
- Familiarity with backend languages like Ruby, Java or Go
- Familiarity with AWS
