Senior Front-End Web Engineer - Personalization

As a Senior Front End Web Engineer working on the Personalization team, you will be building features that are used by millions of users every day, driving a number of experiences across the Roblox suite of websites. You will work closely with product and design to build highly-usable, modern interfaces that shape how our users interact with the Roblox ecosystem. Our team is focused on using data and experimentation to determine how best to improve user engagement and ecosystem health. If you are an experienced and effective engineer who is passionate about building world class features in a data driven environment, you’ll be right at home on the Personalization team.
You Are:
- Experienced, 5 + plus years of work experience building world class User Interfaces
- Hands-On with UI scripting languages such as Javascript or Lua and with JavaScript UI frameworks, particularly React/Redux integrating with APIs. Familiarity with compiled languages (eg. C++, Java, C# etc.) and full-stack or applications development ability is a big plus
- Proficient with industry standards, best practices and design patterns
- Focused on writing clear, readable documentation and testable, modular, well-monitored code
- Passionate about working on a large scale, consumer facing desktop application
- Collaborative team leader, self starter, and adaptable with excellent communication skills and follow-through
- Organized and analytical with the ability to track numerous separate threads and drive them to their appropriate resolution
