About the Role

Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager of Marketing FP&A, we are looking for a motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join Twitch's Marketing FP&A team. You will work closely with various partners including Marketing, Finance, Accounting, and Corp Strategy teams to address challenges that directly impact Twitch's financial metrics. You will also support the forecasting, consolidation, management reporting, and prioritization of strategic investments for the Marketing organization. The successful candidate will enhance existing reports, build new models that provide actionable insights to the business, and tackle implementation of KPIs for marketing spend.

This role, based in San Francisco, will produce analysis and reports that directly contribute to decisions by our executive team, CFO, CMO, and all levels of finance and marketing leadership. You Will:

• Assist in preparing annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly close bridges and dashboards
• Develop ad hoc reports to obtain financial insights in monthly actual spend
• Business Partner with Marketing leadership to provide monthly updates and key financial metrics to enhance their decision making abilities.
• Work closely with Marketing Operations to develop an international investment strategy that rebalances the portfolio based on resourcing, revenue, and various KPIS
• Work closely with Marketing and Finance to manage and support headcount and contractor needs while tracking against internal targets and budgets
• As a stretch opportunity you will also spend time working with the international finance team to help evaluate individual country level performance and opportunities to enhance profitability.

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Business major.
• Typically 3+ years of experience , including a minimum of 1 years experience in a Corporate FP&A role.
• Excel (can perform complex functions) modeling and data analysis.
• Experience using enterprise planning systems (e.g. Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion or SAP) for analysis and reporting .
• Move quickly through vast amounts of data and make relevant recommendations.
• Pride in ownership and attention to detail
• Desire to dig deep around ambiguous topics and find answers to new questions

Bonus Points

• Experience with Tableau and SQL.
• Experience with Finance Systems implementation (Cognos TM1, Oracle OFA, SAP, and/or Anaplan).
• Previous start-up experience.

The base pay range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut, Washington and New Jersey is $66,900 - $117,100 yr and in New York City is $73,600 - $128,800 yr . Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience . A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
