Senior Financial Analyst (Hyderabad)

We are looking for a highly-motivated Sr Finance Analyst, who can function with confidence and grace in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment. The Analyst will have direct visibility to senior members of Finance, as well as significant interaction with the broader FP&A team across key functional areas. Candidates should be able to understand, track, and manage important metrics and resource allocations across the company.
Team Overview
- As part of the FP&A team, you will be working closely with a tight knit team to provide key business metrics to operating teams and collaborate with business leaders to become a trusted advisor.
Role Overview
- We are looking for a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, data collection and modeling capabilities to deliver meaningful analysis and timely reporting. The Sr Finance Analyst will report to the VP of FP&A and will be assisting in establishing the FP&A function within our Hyderabad office. The ideal candidate will be an individual with effective verbal and written communication skills as well as an experience in presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management. The candidate must have 6+ years of relevant FP&A experience working in a high growth and fast-paced environment in the technology industry. Strong communication skills are essential as this role will interact regularly with other departments in the organization as well as with international offices.
Responsibilities but are not limited to
- · Participate in corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-range planning
- · Provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to operating teams, gain key insights into spend trends with meaningful and actionable analyses
- · Build strong relationships and collaborate with business leaders (both in Hyderabad and Globally) to become a trusted advisor who highlights risks, spots opportunities, build simulations and sensitivity analysis
- · Collaborate and communicate on a timely basis with Corporate FP&A about monthly forecasts and other financial trends and developments
- · Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
- · Developing scalable and efficient financial processes that support the business
- · Presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management
- · Assist in special projects and other operational functions as needed
Qualifications
- · 6+ years Public or Private company experience in FP&A, software company experience preferred
- · Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and usage of largescale data streams with pivot tables and reporting expertise are mandatory for success in this role
- · Excellent communication skills to collaborate and convey key objectives globally
- · Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities in order to meet deadlines
- · Ability to think through new situations and evaluate data, draw valid conclusions, and effectively present information to management
- · Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in an unstructured environment
- · Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with business partners and influence decisions
- · Basic skills in SQL and dashboarding
- · Experience using Adaptive Planning, , and/or Oracle Cloud is preferred
- · BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
- · MBA preferred
