Blizzard Entertainment has an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst at its Irvine, California headquarters. We are seeking someone who will be part of Blizzard’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team working on optimizing, forecasting, and planning for our Technology Org. This individual will assist with the company's forecast and annual budgeting processes. In addition, this person will provide financial support to management including identifying optimization opportunities, preparing financial presentations, and other projects requested by management.
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.
What you bring to the table:
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Support business planning efforts with the preparation of quarterly forecasts, weekly pacing, annual budgets, cost trackers, and long-range plans
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures
- Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance
- Support management team and department heads with ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Assist in preparing presentations and supporting materials for management
- Support business planning and strategy efforts to help develop the next wave of epic Blizzard titles
- Help with ad-hoc and other special projects as needs arise
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related areas
- 2+ years operations finance, FP&A, or accounting experience, preferably in a publicly traded company
- Strong financial analysis and organizational skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with other members of the finance team and across the organization
- The highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment
- Knowledge of general accounting and financial planning
- Able to work independently, with limited direction
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial management tools

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $72,720.00 - $134,460.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
