Senior Financial Analyst – Studio Finance

Job Description:

We’re seeking a senior analyst who will become an indispensable resource for multiple Blizzard franchises. This position will be part of Blizzard’s Finance team working in partnership with game development to provide analysis and planning around the production of our games.

Responsibilities:

• Support the quarterly forecast with a focus on accurate forecasting and variance analysis to provide insights to leadership
• Support development planning efforts to help usher in the next wave of Blizzard titles
• Support business planning efforts (annual and long-range planning)
• Partner with business counterparts globally to plan, forecast and ensure delivery against development budgets. Influence long-term cost savings and efficiency initiatives.
• Assist in building life-of-product development forecasts and provide monthly project status updates
• Partner with HR to monitor hiring trends and ensure projects are adequately supported
• Help with other ad-hoc projects in a face paced environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, related areas or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years experience in private equity, banking, or finance in the games, technology or entertainment industries
• Collaborative problem solver who thrives as part of a high performing team
• Team player who is excited to pitch in and help
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with a diverse set of stakeholders all over the world (including finance, business operations and development leaders)
• Structured and organized thinker; excellent written, verbal and PowerPoint communications
• Excellent quantitative skills, with the ability to build detailed models in Excel
• Top academic performance in an analytical discipline
• Integrity, excellent judgment, and discretion
• Demonstrated passion for games
