Senior Financial Analyst, Infrastructure

The opportunity
Come to Unity as a Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team! As a finance partner you will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure expenses and investments across multiple business units. The role will develop financial reporting and dashboards, understand trends and usage, financial forecasts and influence operational changes to the business.

What you’ll be doing
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor our infrastructure spend and usage patterns to identify trends or deviations and introduce strategies for improvement
- Own and run annual planning and forecasting cycles for all cloud infrastructure spend
- Build detailed financial, scenario based models to evaluate usage and optimize costs
- Develop constructive, collaborative relationships with business partners. Be the trusted business advisor and excellent business partner for Unity leaders
- Understand our contractual obligations and influence future commitments and contracts
- Support broader FP&A initiatives including process improvements and systems implementations (e.g. Adaptive Planning, Workday)
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similarly quantitative/analytical degrees
- Experience in an analytical role (e.g. financial planning & analysis, operations, consulting, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present sophisticated financial information in an easy to understand format
- Astute at establishing relationships cross-functionally and Executives, with ability to gain credibility and influence
- Proficient in Excel, Google Suite (Sheets, Slides), and common data analytics tools as well as knowledge of financial systems (Adaptive; Workday Financials)
- Experience monitoring and controlling cloud infrastructure costs

- Background in the sports, entertainment or high growth technology industry
