Senior Finance Manager - Strategic ProjectsSummary
The Senior Finance Manager for Strategic Projects will be responsible for providing financial leadership and expertise to the company's strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability. The strategic projects will include: New Games Development, M&A projects & broader business development opportunities, long-range financial planning across the entire company and other strategic initiatives performance tracking.What You'll Do
- Lead financial planning and analysis for strategic projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management on strategic initiatives, ensuring that decisions are financially sound and aligned with company objectives
- Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic decision-making and investment opportunities
- Develop financial metrics and KPIs: will work with senior management to identify key financial metrics and KPIs that align with the company's strategic objectives
- Monitor and report progress towards strategic goals and report on key metrics and KPIs to senior management
- Identify key financial risks and opportunities associated with strategic initiatives, and develop plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities, be a key risk champion for overarching risk register for the company in regards to strategic projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, operations, legal, and others to support strategic initiatives
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting and analysis, and streamline financial processes and systems
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on strategic planning and analysis
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and evaluate complex financial models
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to senior management
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and influence decision-making in a matrixed organization
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and financial systems implementation
- CPA or CFA certification preferred
Overall, the Senior Finance Manager for Strategic Projects plays a critical role in ensuring that the company's strategy is translated into actionable plans and that financial resources are effectively allocated to support strategic objectives. By working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams, finance can help ensure that the company is well-positioned to achieve its strategic goals and drive long-term growth and profitability. The role will currently report into the VP Global Finance and subsequently into Finance Director – Strategic Projects.
