Job description

For ambitious new projects under development in our company, as part of the Characters team in the Artistic Department and in close collaboration with the team’s Setup officer, you will be responsible for producing a number of full facial rig solutions to meet the needs of various production techniques (keyframe analysis, motion capture, HMC etc.).

In direct contact with the animators, you will be a good listener and a driving force.

The Characters team is dedicated to the development and creation of high-quality real-time 3D characters, and brings together the following specialist areas: Modeling/Textures, Skinning, Setup, Rig, Dynamic real-time simulation.

Required skills

  • 10 years’ experience in CG and/or AAA video games essential;
  • Experience in keyframe/anim highly desirable;
  • In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of industry methods;
  • Proficiency in production pipeline with motion capture video / HMC;
  • Perfect knowledge of Maya;
  • Very familiar with the use of blendshapes / FACS in production;
  • Experience in cartoon facial rig development would be an advantage;
  • Excellent standard of spoken and written communication: explain clearly, rally, persuade;
  • Ability to write concise reports;
  • Perfect knowledge of Maya;
  • Have a vision of pipeline-oriented production;
  • Perfect proficiency in Python;
  • You are an organized self-starter with real interpersonal skills;
  • You are meticulous and flexible in the performance of your role;
  • Methodical and responsive;
  • Curious, open to others;
  • You have a strong desire to learn and be involved in large-scale projects.
