Senior QA Tester

Specialising in AAA PC/console development, Red Kite has a proven track record in the creation of cutting-edge games across varying genres.

Having set up home in the beautiful Grade-II listed Park Row House in Leeds city centre, Red Kite continues to develop top-quality games for multiple world-class AAA publishing partners including Microsoft, Sony, Activision, 2K, SEGA, Rare and Codemasters.

Several titles include Mafia: Definitive Edition, Battletoads, Two Point Hospital, Crackdown 3, Payday 2, Team Sonic Racing, DiRT 4, God of War III: Remastered and Call of Duty: Strike Team.

· We're helping to develop two AAA open world, action games for current-gen and new-gen platforms

· We're enhance porting a hugely successful AAA battle royale game to multiple console platforms

· We're porting an award-winning AAA action game to a new-gen streaming platform

· We’re working in UE4, Unity and custom engines across all major platforms

Red Kite are working on a variety of exciting games and has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QA Tester to strengthen and shape our existing QA team.

In this role you will work in a dev/embedded capacity on a AAA title for a Next Gen Streaming Platform along with future titles.

Working closely with the development team, you will play a key part in helping to achieve target quality in design and implementation. Your knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in supporting projects across a multitude of platforms and genres.

· Plan QA deliverables and ensure coverage for all testing requests from all areas of development

· Define the testing processes to ensure fast and accurate qualitative and functional testing

· Sign off on releases for production milestones

· Be a point of contact for all QA-related communication

· Be an advocate of QA throughout the studio

· Liaise with external testing teams at our publishing partners

· 2+ years’ experience within games dev/embedded testing

· Experience in shipping games on consoles

· A passion for games and their development

· An understanding of JIRA or similar bug tracking and project management software

· Experience using UE4 and/or Unity editor

· Experience using Perforce VCS

· Experience using Agile development methodologies

· Experience providing support, mentoring and professional development for other QA testers
