Senior Engineering Manager, Hardware Systems

As a part of the Hardware team you will guide the evolution and revolution of Roblox hardware platforms and tooling to manage millions of private and public infrastructure resources to support hundreds of millions of users every month. You will define the team vision, as well as the software architecture and design to run our infrastructure efficiently while driving down the TCO.
You are:
- A leader with a proven track record of strong people management skills with an ability to hire and grow a team of hardware engineers and performance engineers
- Track record and demonstrated leadership in developing datacenter hardware and software technologies to support hundreds of millions users globally
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience formulating strategies for multiple hardware lines by managing risk and prioritizing resource allocation effectively.
- Experienced in collaboration and relationship-building, working with all levels of management and individual contributors internally and externally.
- Able to present on topics pertaining to the architecture, design and implementation of hardware technologies
- Knowledgable in physical data centers and public cloud infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Develop and deliver groundbreaking hardware solutions that enable our teams and systems to scale to meet the explosive growth and real-time requirements of our Imagination Platform™ and ultimately ensure our community has an thoughtful experience anywhere in the world.
- Build, lead and grow a group of accomplished engineers in hardware design, performance engineering and hardware sustaining engineering
- Identify and solve critical problems and prevent them from reoccurring via root cause analysis and automation.
- Create, influence, and improve the development platform, infrastructure, standards, and methods to ensure our goals of scalability and high availability.
- Develop and share best practices with development teams to improve the scalability and reliability of the Imagination Platform™
