Solutions Architect - Customer & Platform Enablement
The Developer Relations team is responsible for acting as the primary point of contact between the EA digital platform (EADP) and game development teams. This involves partnering with game studios at every stage of their projects, as well as helping EADP understand the needs, schedules, issues, and strategic objectives of the game teams. This role is also responsible for managing these relationships to ensure long term success of EA.
Developer Relations are focused on partner engagement and success, community building, onboarding of EADP products, and act as an important feedback loop for improving platform products.
Job Description
As a Solutions Architect you will:
- Execute cross-EADP initiatives and improvements based on the voice of the customer
- Voice and participate in internal improvements in team processes and customer engagement
- Guide game teams through EADP product onboarding flows
- Provide initial support when customers don't know what the next steps are, and route as needed
- Contribute on the overall support status for the account: remove blockers, address incidents, and help accomplish team goals by:
- Maintaining key account information per title (i.e. key contacts, game SKUs/platforms, milestone dates, usage projections, committed tech adoptions)
- Maintaining game project status as it related to EADP (i.e. Orbit, Gate reviews, WSR)
- Representing EADP in game-related meetings (i.e. Launch Readiness, Gate Reviews
- Acting as a voice of the customer, providing insight of overall themes, concerns, needs and process/feature gaps that will help develop strategic plans to best support our partners and players
You will make the process of applying the power of the Digital Platform (EADP) easy by:
- Being knowledgeable about all EADP products to be able to represent their core usage, features, and provide key support contacts
- Using platform expertise to guide partner teams/studios on solutions and adoptions to best suit and anticipate their needs
- Coordinating with other program managers, product managers, engineers, live producers, and designers on individual titles to ensure EADP technologies are delivering on expectations that delight our partners and players
- Providing feedback of current operations and relations between studios and EADP teams
- Helping to map game/studio needs to EADP products and identify gaps/feature requests for roadmap building
- Being a trusted Point of Contact for game teams in all EADP-related matters
Qualifications
- Experience working in systems integration, and an understanding of business/product management
- Experience across all phases of product development using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, especially with enterprise platforms
- Experience working with ALM solutions (JIRA, Confluence)
- A solid foundation in computer science, experience as or with software developers
- Comfortable with communicating with all levels of management and developers
- Experience with HD and mobile gaming industry, development, platforms, and ecosystems
- BS or BA degree in computer science or equivalent experience is desirable
- Passionate about games
