As a Diversity and Inclusion Project Manager you will work cross functionally with all COE’s on the People Team to assist with Diversity and Inclusion initiatives present throughout the candidate and employee lifecycle. You’ll implement various strategies starting at the Talent Acquisition phase to ensure a diverse candidate pipeline all the way through learning and development by spearheading mentorship opportunities and career growth and development. You will work closely with the Director of Culture and Engagement and Human Resource Business Partners to promote an inclusive workplace and coordinate company wide internal events. You will give our Business Resource Groups the necessary tools to run successful programs and work closely with the CEO and the executive leadership team to promote Diversity and Inclusion initiatives company wide from both a people and product point of view. You'll analyze, design and deliver programs and projects across service lines.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a project manager for medium to large projects or oversees portions of major or highly complex projects
- Manage Magic Leap’s University outreach and all fellowship/internship programs
- Serve as the first point of contact for projects and programs you run. Address and resolve requests, concerns and inquiries
- Provide thoughtful input and often develop communications targeted for employees
- Implement recurring Diversity & Inclusion processes and identify and recommend process improvements
- Collect, analyze and report on HR related data. Identify issues and make suggestions as appropriate
- Help design and implement Diversity and Inclusion related programs and processes
- Alert HR team members and/or clients to potential risks
- Participate in discussions within the business unit and company wide
- Be comfortable presenting to the Executive Leadership Team and company wide
Knowledge and skills requirements
- Project and program management including project design and implementation, stakeholder management and communications planning and budget management
- Knowledge about an array of Diversity and Inclusion issues, resources and subjects. Duties are varied and also require a broad knowledge base to perform
- Excel and data analysis skills
- Solutions orientation and mindset
- Effective teaming skills
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects and multiple deadlines
To qualify, candidates must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience
- Possesses skills in the following key areas: Project management, facilitation, supporting and leading change, influencing (persuasive verbal and written communications)
- Ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of the business
