Mistplay is seeking a Director of International Expansion to lead the company’s market expansion initiatives. We are looking for an inspiring leader, a strategic thinker and problem solver, who is dynamic, engaging, and energetic. The Director of International Expansion will own the development and implementation of strategic plans to launch and grow Mistplay products in new markets. In this role you will be expected to travel frequently to build and strengthen relationships with existing international team members, to launch operations in specific markets, and to meet with local business partners.
Reporting directly to the COO, you will have the opportunity to be an entrepreneur, to leverage your proven strategic planning and leadership skills, and to deliver meaningful global growth for the company.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Own the business plan and resource model for expansion into international markets
- Work closely with members of the executive leadership team to set and lead the international expansion strategy in order to successfully launch the Mistplay app in new markets across APAC, Europe, and LATAM
- Evolve our operating model to balance central and regional resources to ensure best in class execution of the international expansion strategy
- Where relevant, stand up operations and hire resources in specific markets Work closely with the Director of Sales to develop a sales plan, set KPIs, and lead or orchestrate the execution of operational plans to achieve sales targets
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure that we have locally relevant user acquisition strategies capable of delivering sustained user growth at scale
- Work closely with the Director of Product to develop a systematic process for localization and culturalization
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to manage budgets and compliance across markets
- Establish trust-based relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to create alignment and mobilize cross-functional collaboration
- Own the full International Expansion P&L and provide regular progress reports to key stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
- Proven track record developing and executing strategic plans for business growth, establishing business cases, business plans, establishing goals, and developing and managing execution plans.8+ years of experience with strategy, management consulting, or program management with P&L responsibilities
- Proven track record of developing GTM strategies and launching new or existing products in international markets
- Experience working directly with senior management, engaging stakeholders to create alignment
- Experience operating in a matrixed organization
- Self-sufficient high performer who enjoys contributing to the success of your team
- Deep critical thinking, analytical and conceptual problem solving skills
- Ability to deconstruct ambiguous problems and synthesize clear takeaways from to provide recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods
- Passionate people manager who builds capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication and mentoring.
- Deep knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, product, marketing, sales, legal, HR Strong communicator, both orally and via presentations and data
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Experience working in an agile organization not required but a huge plus
- Knowledge of the mobile gaming industry or ad-tech is a plus
- MBA is not required but huge plus
