Job Description
The Mobile Partnerships Team at Activision Blizzard King drives partner collaboration that fuels organic growth across our leading portfolio of mobile games. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and highly organized individual to support the team and report into the SVP Mobile Partnerships and lead Strategy and Operations.
You’ll play an instrumental role in setting strategic priorities and roadmap, communications with leadership, and improving processes within the team in support of company goals. You will work alongside various internal teams across all business units and have a proven ability to foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within mobile partnership team (1st party platforms & business development) and executive mgmt. to create and drive mobile partnership strategy & initiatives
- Assemble stakeholders and enable cross company collaboration across Activision, Blizzard and King and alignment on mobile partnership strategy & initiatives through a Partnership Operating Model.
- Act as liaison and key POC on behalf of Mobile Partnerships, across Development, Product, Marketing, Advertising, etc. to drive strategy and operationalize executed partnership deals, including tracking of key commitments
- Alignment of mobile partnership strategy across different regional teams.
- Define and continuously improve processes and reporting to track, maintain and communicate the strategy vs. roadmap progress
- Ensure and enforce partnership strategy initiatives are being actioned by keeping relevant stakeholders involved and engaged
- Facilitate the creation and quarterly review of team and individual objectives
- Create, drive and track 1st party mobile platform & partnership quarterly business reviews, Annual Operating Plan and Multi-year Long Range Plan
- Continuously review and improve team processes, reporting and relationships with other internal stakeholders
- Support King & Activision Blizzard relationship management, including strategic projects/initiatives, knowledge sharing, securing cross company benefits
- Stay abreast of digital entertainment and mobile gaming market trends, and regularly share strategic insights.
Skills to Create Thrills
- BA/BS degree with strong academic record, MBA nice to have
- Eight plus years of strategy, consulting, investment banking or related partner management or business operations experience in a gaming, media or consumer web/mobile services company.
- Excellent leadership and relationship building skills.
- Stay abreast of digital entertainment and mobile gaming market trends, and regularly share strategic insights.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex problems, leading to developing and communicating recommendations and action plans to senior management.
- Analytical, with experience driving analyses and recommendations with data-driven framework.
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent in PowerPoint and overall framing & messaging to Executive leadership
- Excellent project management skills in managing external and internal stakeholders to execute recommendations and action plans.
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional and cross-cultural team environment.
- Excellent oral and communications skills to express complex and analytical concepts with clarity.
- Strong influencing skills
- Ability to take ownership of an issue and see it through resolution.
