Senior Director, Finance & Strategy

Rooster Teeth is looking for a talented Finance & Strategy executive to join our Finance & Business Operations team, responsible for a variety of tasks including: financial planning, corporate strategy, and business operations. The ideal candidate would be comfortable working both independently and as part of a dynamic team. They also would have a passion for and knowledge of YouTube, digital entertainment and gaming. We seek a candidate who can grow with the organization and work cross functionally with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with leadership on monthly, annual, and long-range strategy, budget, and forecast planning
• Develop internal and external facing presentation materials for key stakeholders
• Serve as a key partner to our parent company, Otter Media (a WarnerMedia property)
• Provide financial support for business unit investments and new corporate initiatives
• Manage 1-3 finance team members
• Maintain and enhance a dynamic, collaborative, and fun team environment
• Use a data driven approach to solve business problems including content, marketing, consumer products, and windowing strategy
• Support in managing operating model and long range plan, providing frequently updated projections for key revenue streams and expenditures
• Develop operational relationship with business leaders

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience at an entertainment / digital media company in a finance role and / or experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, etc.
• Ideal candidates should have a high aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including strong Excel skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to guide and influence senior leadership
• Familiarity with Digital Media, OTT / DTC distribution a plusTop tier university, MBA preferred
• Team player with a positive attitude
