Senior Director - Developer Relations and Solutions

The Challenge Ahead:

EA's Digital Platform (EADP) organization develops an important technology platform that enables and accelerates the development of our consumer products from games, storefronts, and web experiences through a deep partnership with a diverse community of developers.

You will lead a developer relations and solutions organization focused on partner engagement, community building, developer productivity, onboarding, and act as an important feedback loop for improving platform products.

What a Sr. Director, Developer Relations and Solutions does at EA:

Reporting to the VP, Customer and Platform Enablement, you will lead a Developer Relations and Solutions team to make the process of applying the power of the Digital Platform (EADP) easy by:

• Lead strategy for community engagement and developer productivity.
• Develop the team to be experts in the platform to guide partner teams on solutions and adoptions to solve their problems.
• Develop communication strategies to convey current and upcoming roadmaps.
• Facilitate and shape the conversations between studios and EADP teams to bring reliable products and services.
• Partner with the EADP teams to create a roadmap to achieve future platform/product capabilities based on studio needs
• Foster developer communities and shape the sponsor and influencer conversations to guide EADP agreement
• Accelerate technology integrations for game teams to meet time-to-market needs
• Develop metrics to track community support, engagement, and adoption.

You will use data-driven approaches to power the journey of EADP adoption, measure the effectiveness of progress vs. the purpose of the Developer Relations and Solutions team, and engage with EADP and Studio leaders.

The next great Sr.Director, Dev Relations and Solutions needs:

• Minimum 7 years of product management or developer relations or related experience
• Minimum 5 years of engineering management and integration experience
• Demonstrated product and engineering leadership
• Experience with large-scale platform capabilities and enough technical depth across these capabilities to assess risk and find the latest solutions.
• You are comfortable and have experience communicating with all levels of management
• Experience with HD and mobile gaming industry, development, platforms, and ecosystems
• Experience leading teams and partnering across complex organizations

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computers Science or Equivalent Work Experience
