You will be joining the Technology Group that is responsible for a cutting-edge technology for our gaming platforms, Game Development Kits and Tools that are used in Casinos around the world. The team is responsible for devising innovative solutions to support the imaginations of the greatest game creators in the industry. As a DirectX Software Engineer you will be responsible for extending and maintaining a DirectX rendering engine for the Game Development Kit (GDK) that the Studio developers and artists use to make the world's greatest games. You will work to optimize new and existing features to ensure they are as efficient and highly optimized as possible to maintain maximum frame rate and visual quality.

Job Requirements
- Design and implement new DirectX rendering system
- Maintaining and extending an existing DirectX rendering engine.
- Carrying out technical assessments on requested features and identify scope of work/dependencies for development requirements.
- Developing fast, maintainable, quality code.
- Working closely with management in assessing risks, planning of projects and contingency management.
- Preparing proposals and hold presentations for business and technical audiences.
- Performing software testing, verification and validation.
- Conducting design reviews and contribute to improving code quality processes.
- Providing technical guidance and support to internal team(s) and to the stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting and debugging code to identify software issues.
- Mentor new engineers.
Qualifications
Must have:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience in C++.
- 5+ years of experience in DirectX.
- 3+ years of experience writing HLSL shader code.
- Experience working with modern software development processes.
- Excellent linear algebra skills.
- Solid architecture and software design skills.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable and portable code.
Nice to have:
- Experience with DirectX 12, OpenGL, Unity and C#.
