Senior Development Tester[Tom Clancy's The Division 2]

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Development Tester, to work closely together with production to help us prevent defects and influence detection strategies with a focus on our production tool suite. You will aim to improve the overall development and ensure the quality of specific features. You will be the main contact for feature teams so their features are properly tested. Your efforts will directly influence the time, risks, and costs of the game.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Create test cases, with help of game designer and TD, to check and report the status for game features development on daily basis
- Help prevent bugs by testing integrations within the production itself, validation of the integrated features versus design documentation.
- Perform Dev Tests for features and changes before they are submitted
- Perform routine test on daily version and send daily smoke test report to update on the walkthrough or game features status
- Direct support to the assigned development team, real-time bug isolating/reproduction, integration grid updates and special requests from production (specific tests, video captures, build reviews, bug entry, etc.)
- Tag team testing and troubleshooting alongside production to help identify and fix bugs on the fly.
- Working closely with the QC Team Lead in the follow up of the game’s development (Validating versions to be sent to other testing teams, putting together various reports and also help with risk assessments).
- Communicate effectively, constructively and efficiently any issues or topics to key Stakeholders, Directors and Production Teams in addition to other members of the Dev Test team.
- Assist Lead Development Tester in Test plans, highlighting risks and in setting up/optimizing test processes.
- Other pertinent tasks.
Qualifications
- A strong understanding of development processes and the needs of different departments throughout a development cycle.
- High expertise in writing test-cases and setting up test procedures.
- Experience with defect & test case management tools (e.g. JIRA, TestRail etc.)
- Proactive and independent working manner.
- Knowledge of gaming platforms (Xbox One, PS4, PC, etc.)
- Adapt easily to platform and workload variations.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software/Game Development, or equivalent work experience.
Nice to have:
- At least 7 years of experience in Quality Control in the Video Game Industry (with at least 2 years in console game).
- Any production tool set skills related to video games are a definite plus ( Engine, Editors, scripting, programming, etc.)
- Good English in reading and writing, good verbal English is a plus.
