Senior Developer Support Engineer

The Opportunity

Unity Multiplayer Services provide game developers, on all platforms and engines, the tools vital to build engaging multiplayer games. We develop everything from VOIP to Matchmaking with lots in between.

As a Developer Support Engineer for the Unity Multiplayer Services team, you’ll be the primary point of contact for game developers using our services, responding to questions, solving problems, and ensuring the highest quality of customer experience. What you’ll be doing

• Provide timely and accurate technical support and solutions for games developers working with Unity, Unreal, and other game engines.
• Solve customer problems by collaborating with customers and coworkers via online ticketing or other appropriate medium
• Proactively maintain excellent relations between the technical support team and other departments within Unity
• Contribute to documentation and other resource materials

What we’re looking for

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent proficiency with C++
• Excellent English communication skills
• Experience developing games, apps or simulations with Unity, Unreal, or other game engine
• Willingness to learn new skills

You might also have

• Proficiency with C#
• Game development experience in a commercial production environment
• Knowledge of SCM software (Git, SVN, Mercurial, P4) and available external hosting platforms
