Senior Developer Devops, Live Entertainment & Sports

The opportunity
Unity's newly formed Live Entertainment team will transform how content will be crafted, streamed, and played in the next decade!
Our team is looking for a DevOps software engineer to build tools to improve developer's experience and best-in-class cloud-based infrastructure solutions. In this role, you will draw on your past experiences to be a DevOps advocate and a mentor on processes and techniques. You will be part of a dedicated and passionate team to achieve exponential success in a large growth market.
We will enable brands to take advantage of Unity's tools and products. Empower creative designers to immerse their audiences in environments that embody liveness and offer compelling engagement opportunities with artists and their brands 24/7, all while reducing the complexity, friction, and time to market. We want to empower the Artist Brand to multiply their audience and perform from anywhere!
What you’ll be doing
- Cloud infrastructure: Play a meaningful role in crafting observable systems that exhibit low latency, scalability, resiliency, availability, and that provides significant protection for user data and anonymity
- CI/CD: Help our team by codifying, automating and instrumenting systems and processes
- Coaching: Mentor developers to help them be more efficient in their development practices and be proficient in their infrastructure management
What we’re looking for
- Production experience building and maintaining large-scale container orchestrators systems with cloud providers and infrastructure as code technologies (GCP, etc.)
- Experience building automation pipelines (Github actions, etc.)
- Experience with Python development
