Senior DevOps Engineering Manager

Fliff unpacks sports gaming into social, free-to-play games for all types of sports fans. We've built a social sports gaming experience that allows users to compete for leaderboard positioning, to achieve badges and build their status within the game.

We are pioneering play-for-fun sports gaming, with our flagship social sportsbook experience that includes sweepstakes promotions and loyalty rewards. We provide sports fans with fun, engaging, and free-to-play alternatives to real money gaming.

We seek an experienced Senior DevOps Engineering Manager to lead our Euro DevOps team in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in DevOps practices and cloud technologies, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Develop and implement DevOps strategies aligned with business objectives
• Oversee the design, reimplementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our systems
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery processes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Manage incident response and participate in on-call rotations
• Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across the organization
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) in a production environment
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of database administration and data management
