We seek an experienced Senior DevOps Engineering Manager to lead our Euro DevOps team in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in DevOps practices and cloud technologies, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop and implement DevOps strategies aligned with business objectives
- Oversee the design, reimplementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our systems
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery processes
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Manage incident response and participate in on-call rotations
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across the organization
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) in a production environment
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of database administration and data management
