Two simple questions:

1. Would you like to help us implement containerisation and improve our existing CI/CD Setup?
2. Can you improve the quality and level of automation in our build, test and deployment processes?

If you have answered ‘yes’ to both of these questions, read on my friend!

Rebellion is a leading developer and publisher of games, and is also one of Europe’s biggest independent studios operating across books, comics, TV and film. Our Sniper Elite series is renowned for its authentic stealth and sniping gameplay with more than 35 million players worldwide. The Zombie Army franchise is a spine-chilling zombie shooter, and the soon-to-be released Evil Genius 2 is a satirical spy-fi lair builder where YOU are the criminal mastermind!

And those are just the projects you know about – there are loads more!

We are looking for someone like you to become our all-new Senior DevOps Engineer and join our passionate and talented Web team, where we are building on the years of success that Rebellion has enjoyed.

Senior DevOps Engineer role:

The Senior DevOps Engineer is a new role dedicated to implementing robust build and deployment processes and proposing and overseeing improvements to existing systems. You will improve and increase the quality and level of automated build, test and deployment processes within the team and implement containerisation across our deployments. You will also expand, improve and maintain the existing GitLab CI/CD setup. As part of the Web team, you will play a key role in implementing effective monitoring processes and ensuring the highest possible availability of live systems under your remit.

This role would suit an experienced DevOps Engineer who has implemented and developed robust testing and deployment processes and previously implemented containerisation.
