Platform Operations Team

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate would have experience as a tooling engineer for a medium to large sized organisation and have experience with creating greenfield solutions.

The Platform Interop Team is composed of mid-level and senior engineers who are experienced in tooling, platform integrations, greenfield solutions and solving problems.

Senior engineers are expected to achieve time-critical goals for sprints and milestones whilst supporting other team members.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for DevOps pipelines in Platform Engineering.
• Build mission critical tooling for the organisation
• Execution of
• DevOps tooling releases
• Changes and upgrades for supporting services
• Cloud provider management
• Tooling management
• Upkeep of mission critical systems

Required skills

• An understanding of Scrum and/or Agile Methodologies
• Mentorship (both as Mentor and Mentee)
• Understands the entire SDLC
• Understands the differences between SRE and DevSecOps
• Experience working with multiple cloud products & cloud vendors
• Has developed a SaaS product
• Knowledge of ITSM framework
• Kubernetes experience
• Terraform experience
• Ansible experience
• Packer experience

Desired skills

• .NET ecosystem experience
• Golang ecosystem experience
• Rust ecosystem experience
