We at G-Loot are now searching for an addition to the core of the organization, a Senior DevOps Engineer that can help us shape the future of modern gaming and esports!

What you’ll do:
Our Senior DevOps Engineer develops and implements solutions that promote consistency, efficiency, and risk reduction using new technologies and strategies.
The objective of the team is to make it possible for us to build scalable and secure applications. We collaborate closely with our application engineers to create an efficient cloud environment for our engineering teams and their applications.
Key responsibilities are:
- Development and configuration of infrastructure
- Communicating with our engineers to find key requirements to build towards
- Provide support to developers regarding infrastructure
- Implementing new technologies to improve the speed of development
- Generate new ideas on how to improve the infrastructure
- Proactivly evaluate and suggest new solutions and technologies
Technologies you'll be exposed to during your time at G-Loot:
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Redis
- Canary and Blue/Green Deployments
- Google Cloud
- Database Infrastructures (SQL and NoSQL)
- Mass scaling service strategies
- Microservice architectures
- Docker
We believe you have:
- At least six years of experience in a similar role
- Experience beyond pipeline configuration, a requirement is to be able to
- Design and automation of the infrastructure
- Building, deploying, and monitoring software in a cloud environment (e.g GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Containerisation (e.g. Kubernetes)
- Good knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Deep knowledge of the git and code control tools
- You show enthusiasm for continuous integration and continuous
- deployment, automation , and other efficient workflow-oriented practices.
- Infrastructure as code mindset has deep knowledge in Terraform and GCP infrastructure
It's a big plus if you have:
- Experience in other Google Cloud
- Experience working with services built on Firestore, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes
- Experience with Canary and more advanced deployment strategies
- An interest in gaming & esports
- Experience in a fast-paced and growing organisation
