Summary

B2B Interactive operate a highly skilled team of DevOps engineers which we have split into two logical sub-teams. The Support/Operations team are responsible for working with our development teams to help them create CI/CD pipelines, and generally automate any manual support tasks/BAU work.

The second sub-team are exclusively focused on building infrastructure and future innovations and work to regular sprints.

You do not necessarily need an engineering background, but you be comfortable with some of the common tools used to build Infrastructure, including Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes and CI/CD Pipelines.

Using this knowledge, you will act as a conduit to communicate between our engineers to our business leadership - so that all parties are informed and the correct expectations are set and met.

What You'll Do

Using your Jira skills, you will be instrumental in helping define realistic timelines and communicating these timelines and our progress out to our wider stakeholders.

Usually outages are fairly rare, but In the event of a production incident happening during your work day, you will be required to co-ordinate the response and help ensure frequent and accurate service updates are communicated as required. Finally, You will also lead the post mortem and ensure that any lessons are recorded and implemented.

· Knowledge of Confluence
· An excellent verbal and written communicator
· Basic Knowledge of DevOps related terms/technologies
· Ability to work with geographically dispersed team
· Able to grasp functional aspects well (quickly and with minimal guidance)
· Must have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
· Able to challenge the status-quo and constantly suggest improvements.
· Demonstrates an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Ability to drive discussions towards conclusions.
· Articulate and should be able to express ideas and issues without inhibitions.

· Able to take ownership for delivery of projects and/or product and engaging with all relevant parties
