Zynga is looking for a seasoned Senior Desktop Support Technician to join our Bengaluru team. The Senior Desktop Support Technician will the point of contact for all IT tickets submitted within their region, as well as supporting remote employees. The idea l candidate will possess a solid sense of ownership, the ability to collaborate and mentor other team members, and broad problem solving experience. This position reports to the IT Support Manager and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to Zynga’s success during an exciting time in the company’s history. Description:

  • Act as a team leader and mentor to junior team members around the globe.
  • Ide ntify potential changes and system improvements to present to senior team leaders for consideration and implementation.
  • Assist in employee on boarding and off boarding .
  • Directly interact with users and partners at every level of the business, from intern t o CEO.
  • Write PowerShell scripts that perform system tasks and change configurations.
  • Build, delete, de-provision, and maintain user, system, group, DL accounts and passwords in Active Directory.
  • Provides expert technical support of desktop computers, Mac O S computers, SSO, VM, Casper, Landesk , SCCM, Airwatch , Office365 applications.
  • Assist customers with IT related issues in a Service Desk setting, troubleshooting issues and resolving where applicable remotely.
  • Assist with hardware troubleshooting on deskto p computers, laptops, MACs, and mobile devices.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Participate in IT projects.
  • Educate end users in IT standard methodologies, self-service tools, and cybersecurity directives

Requirements:

  • Associates degree and 5+ year s of technical support (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Five years’ experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting and repairing printers, PC, Mac, and laptops(PC/Mac)
  • Support role in an engineering environment highly preferred
  • Customer-focused with a "service first" attitude
  • Excellent customer services skills; VIP and C-level support
  • Desire to continue learning
  • Excellent team player attitude
  • Be a strong, dynamic character, capable of dealing effectively with colleagues and busin ess users working in a constantly evolving environment
  • A burning desire and love for video games!
  • One or more of the following certifications is desired:
  • Apple Certified Support Professional
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA A+
  • MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Windows 7
  • Enterprise Desktop Support technician on Windows 7
