Summary:
Age of Learning’s Brand team is looking for a creative, hands-on Sr. Digital Marketing Designer to concept, produce, and deliver top notch storytelling through a mix of website design, content creation, and digital ad campaigns. This Sr. Designer role will be a key player in building and supporting digital design across Age of Learning’s various corporate touchpoints, primarily our emerging Schools initiatives. This Designer is a perpetual creative problem-solver who strategically grows and manages all aspects of design and production including email campaigns, websites, creation of presentation decks, design templates, and creative ideation that translates to corresponding collateral. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children through digital education and excited to produce content that delights and inspires. This role is a member of a thriving collaborative culture of graphic designers, writers, producers, researchers, Curriculum, Sales, and product stakeholders. The Sr. Digital Designer will develop stakeholder support through thoughtful understanding of the EdTech space to convey how our programs deliver learning successes through various touchpoints. This role will create and develop digital marketing assets, innovative presentation decks, manage projects, juggle multiple priorities and project schedules to meet critical deadlines on high-visibility projects. It will be vitally important for the candidate to be comfortable in the context of constant innovation, striving for the highest standards, working well under pressure with the ability to produce artwork on multiple and varied projects with short and fluctuating timeframes, all simultaneously. This position reports to the Sr. Creative Director, Creative Services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop integrative marketing creative for digital campaigns that support and promote Schools' Sales and Marketing initiatives, including sales follow-up
- Bring dynamic new ideas, develop high-impact, high-polished presentations (PPT, Keynote) for various audiences in the EdTech space (state level, district level, administrators, teachers)
- Work with stakeholders to convey complex educational concepts into simplified, easy-to-digest infographics and visuals that speak volumes and read in an instant
- Partner with external design agencies and development partners on various projects including landing pages, and microsites; contribute and maintain top-notch website content for Age of Learning Schools division
- Move request through out internal workflow quickly while exercising judgement and delivering at highest quality to consistently meet service level agreements for all projects
- Collaborate with the Schools marketing team to map out the various customer, and user, journeys in communications
- Design tradeshow presences and define visual look for events including local, regional, and national events, swag. Ensure a consistent design look and feel across all materials, adhering to brand guidelines
- Plan and meet departmental design objectives with the Sr. Creative Director and VP, Schools Marketing
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of creative development/senior design experience of digital content creation, product, or marketing side, as demonstrated in an outstanding portfolio
- Experience managing digital projects from start to finish, including project discovery and planning, managing a workback schedule, building and publishing via a content management system (HTML, Hubspot). Examples include web page design, email creative, interactive digital data executions, lead gen integration
- Experience in the K–12 education space and/or EdTech preferred · Wireframing content, presentation flows, and rapid prototyping web pages as part of a cohesive campaign
- Managing intake process to unblock blockers, optimizing communication across cross-functional teams and org
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch/Figma, Word Press
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong portfolio · Excellent communicator with effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various levels of management, both internal and external
- Sense of humor required :)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the K–12 education space and/or EdTech preferred
