We are looking for a Senior Department Assistant who is a multi-tasker with strong project management skills to coordinate/manage all areas of administrative support for a dynamic department. You are a natural operator in a global environment and have a seamless ability to communicate with multi-disciplined and multi-cultural personnel. You are a proactive person with a positive “can-do” attitude who is willing to learn and grow. You are a dependable resource whose main objective is to provide support for the needs of the department and its leaders.

About the team:

The PlayStation Studios Global Tech & Services team supports the growing number of game development studios owned by PlayStation. We provide QA, User Experience Research, Analytics, Technology, Sound Design, Motion Capture, and more in order to empower our game studios to make the best possible games for our players.

Specific duties:

  • Serve as a helpful knowledge base for the department, especially for processes and procedures, and help in a hands-on, proactive manner.
  • Liaise effectively with Executive and Administrative Assistant counterparts and build strong working relationships with a wide range of company stakeholders at all levels and operate on a global scale.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of hosted events .
  • General office management for the team, including managing & restocking of office supplies, hardware, and software; supply shipping & receiving; distributing inter-office mail; placing & tracking purchase orders in SAP, etc.
  • Calendar management for team directors.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports in Concur for senior management and help teams with troubleshooting.
  • Create travel requests in Concur.
  • Timecard power user in ADP.
  • Submit contracts in Conga.
  • Support regular monthly financial tracking and reporting processes.
  • Leadership / team meeting preparation, including: ordering food and set up lunches for meetings , preparing conference rooms, and receiving & escorting visitors.
  • Partner in building a fun, healthy team culture, including welcoming / onboarding new team members, recognizing birthdays, creating swag, etc.
  • Be up to date on latest company policy and procedure and communicate to department as appropriate .

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a group admin or relevant work experience
  • Proven ability to assist a complex, multi-department, global team
  • Track record of high quality, detail-oriented work / recommendations from prior team leaders
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality/discretion
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Process-oriented, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with friendly, outgoing, and flexible manner
  • Self-starter and results-oriented
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), SRM, Concur, and SAP
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$35 — $53 USD
