The Challenge Ahead:
Demand Planning Management
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Demand Planning, you will be the international focal point owner, responsible for maximising revenue and profitability for several franchises across their life cycle through the region of the IPO (International Publishing Organisation).
For the franchises you oversee, you will manage (with the Local Demand Planners and your APO (Asia) counterparts) quality forecasts, pre-order programs, pre-awareness metrics, life cycle management, and insights on the effectiveness of important business levers.
Project Management
You will also be the owner for the different projects affecting the systems/tools used by IPO Planners (Central IPO Demand Planning Team and IPO Local Demand Planners). You will represent the IPO Demand Planning Team in the projects related to the systems (Demantra, VeraCruz, Vision) used by IPO Planners. You will coordinate projects delivery with the important demand planning calendar/deadlines and propose any adjustments that would improve the systems usage.
Demand Planning Responsibilities
Oversee the International Demand Planning for specific franchises:
You will assess the demand for our titles from Title Plan up to the deactivation of the products and build the International Demand Plans/Forecasts for specific franchises using market trends, product specifics, and retailer behaviours together with comparable genres and consumer data to predict sales of each title by platform.
Long-term forecasting:
You will oversee the International Demand Plans/Forecasts and collaborate with the Studios and Localization Teams to decide on localization languages
Short-term forecasting:
You will build demand plans at country level (from IPO Demand Plan) for discussion with the Local Demand Planners and coordinate local forecasting processes to aggregate to an International Demand Forecast, including pre-order forecast. You will assess the true demand for Supply and Server Capacity setup and the Risk&Ops vs Financial Estimates, and measure titles performances (pricing, marketing, competition, market) and undertake mitigating/correction actions.
