We’re seeking a results-driven, analytical & entrepreneurial-minded Demand Operations Manager to help manage all facets of Chartboost demand, margin optimization, and program health.
Working with Account Management, Sales, and BI, you would be responsible to oversee the regional success of our Chartboost UA and advertising operations. You and your team will oversee setup, health, optimization, QA, and performance, aimed at ensuring success and growth for our advertisers. You would have ownership of monitoring and improving program health, optimizing advertiser/supply pairing, and performing strategic data analysis. Having strong knowledge of the mobile ad-tech ecosystem and familiarity with key concepts like ROAS, CPI, IPM, CTR, etc. is key.
We are looking for someone who is inquisitive, detail oriented and comfortable working with very complex interdependent systems and processes despite the granularity of the data. If you’re able to think through the downstream effects of a small configuration change, and anticipate how each tweak may play out in the context of larger cross team efforts, then we want to talk to you!
This is an individual contributor role based in the US, reporting to the regional Operations lead.
Impact you will make:
- Oversee & manage the health and success of key elements of our DSP and of each vital component of the platform
- Develop a deep understanding & communicate the nuances, opportunities, and deficiencies of our advertising operations
- Create, iterate, and communicate important KPIs to product, engineering, and senior management
- Provide internal and external clients with detailed campaign analysis, including performance summary and optimization recommendations in order to identify trends and areas of opportunity
- Daily data analysis to identify new growth areas and reduce waste
- Troubleshoot performance and manage targeting, constraints, ROAS, and margin
- Participate and/or lead diverse program health and demand and supply matching initiatives
- Act as liaison with engineering & product teams
- Prepare reports, metrics, and updates tracking the progress for assigned ad campaigns.
- Partner with team to assist in development and implementation of new methodologies to best deliver quality service across our program
- Create & demonstrate a quality & customer-first performance ethos
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in Ad Operations, Data Analysis, Monetization/UA, Advertising, Account Management, Technical Support or relevant field at a mobile/online gaming company, advertising agency, ad network, DSP or SSP
- Results oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive goals
- Superb verbal and written communication skills, comfortable communicating with both business and engineering teams
- Must be a self-starter, with a willingness to learn new skills and take initiative in order to drive results
- Energetic to create/supplement process, but flexible around business needs
- Advanced use of Excel/Google Sheets and proficient data analysis
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations
- Superb attention to detail and a passion for managing the quality & accuracy of analytics, including checking your and others’ work
The following experience would be a plus:
- Working in programmatic/RTB environments
- Project management experience
- SQL, R and/or Python

This is a fully remote role that may be based anywhere in the United States.
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $105,000 and $155,000 per year. For applicants based in Colorado at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,000 and $125,000 per year. For applicants based in New York City and New Jersey at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,000 and $145,000 per year.
However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position for applicants based in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $95,000 and $140,000 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive 13 paid holidays per calendar year, unlimited discretionary time off, and will receive 10 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
