Data Analyst, Games Team
It’s an exciting time to join Tactile. We're one of the largest Danish gaming companies and we have been scaling fast in the last few years. Our dedication to creating top-quality games with global appeal has led to the development of a series of highly successful puzzle mobile games, such as Lily's Garden, Cookie Cats, Simon's Cat, and most recently, Penny&Flo: Finding Home.
Currently we are looking for a Data Analytics expert to join our Games Team.
As a Data Analyst at Tactile you will have the opportunity to explore data and take the initiative to acquire valuable insights that could help us improve our player’s experience. In your day to day, you’ll be partnering up with game designers and other data scientists to lead projects on machine learning, behavioural segmentation and monetization. Project after project you’ll be helping evolve the analytics methodologies and tools available company-wide.
We have a growing portfolio of successful games, so you’ll have the chance to assist game development through all of their different stages, from ideation, to soft-launch, to the long-term optimization of top ranking games.
This role is based onsite in our Copenhagen office.
Okay, let’s get a little bit more specific. Here’s what you’ll be doing on the day-to-day:
- Analyse the performance of the game to help the product team to understand how the users behave, what to improve in the game and how to do it
- Create dashboards to monitorize the different KPIs of the game/features.
- Work closely with the product team designing and analysing A/B tests.
- Help game designers & products to balance the features based on user data.
- Work with developers to define the analytics events needed in the game.
- Present your findings to the stakeholders (usually product team and game designers) and propose improvements to the game.
- Work closely with the rest of the data analysts of the team, brainstorming how to solve the problems and helping each other
What we’re looking for:
- Prior experience working within gaming/ mobile apps
- Proficiency with SQL
- High proficiency in presenting analyses and results to all audiences, from senior stakeholders to junior colleagues and non-technical teammates
- Experience applying rigorous analytic techniques in order to understand the behaviour of our players and the way they interact with the game features
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, Sisense (formerly Periscope), Tableau)
- Understanding of statistical concepts such as sampling, distributions, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals
- Strong experience and deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies
You'll make us extra excited if you also have:
- Python/R knowledge
- Familiarity with collaborative programming (e.g., git), and other tools like Airflow and Docker
What we offer:
