Senior Data Analyst

With our successful mobile game titles, Covet Fashion and Design Home, Crowdstar has developed new ways for players to enjoy fashion and interior design. As a team, we are passionate not only about creating fun and engaging games for women but enriching lives outside the game.

You will work directly with the Senior Product Management team in the HQ (SF) from the Toronto location and become a core part of the team leading the studio towards more data-driven decision making.

You'll most often:

• Answer business-related questions through exploratory data analyses and ad-hoc reporting that helps drive engagement, retention and monetization
• Work cross-functionally with our user acquisition, advertising, game studio, finance, and data science teams to conduct analyses and produce strategic insights, helping stakeholders make informed decisions regarding live content performance and feature investment
• Present analysis conclusions to business stakeholders in a clear and practical way
• Partner with Data Engineers to manage data quality and integrity to support high-quality deliverables
• Provide guidance to product teams regarding data capture needs and ensure we have telemetry available to answer important questions
• Play the game and know it from the inside out

You will be a great fit for the role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience as data analyst or financial analyst
• 3+ years experience using SQL, including complex queries from multiple data sources
• 3+ years experience applying statistical analysis to consumer behaviors (video gaming, e-commerce, consumer entertainment, etc.)
• 2+ years experience with R/Python data mining, machine learning, or statistical modeling
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including forecasting and performance marketing analysis
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to quickly prioritize and execute multiple competing projects based on business case and expected impact
