Overview
Bethesda Softworks is looking for a world class Senior Data Privacy Analyst to join a highly skilled team of security professionals responsible for the data privacy of AAA titles, digital platforms, and data in live and studio development environments. This team member will support data privacy compliance initiatives and ensure privacy policies are correctly implemented. You will assist with roadmap refinement for privacy by design as well as to ensure successful delivery of the program. Prior experience working in gaming and an ability to understand the unique challenges facing the industry is a definite bonus.
Responsibilities
- Establish privacy by design processes in product development
- Identify areas of improvement in practices relative to managing data privacy
- Guide policy and guidelines to ensure data usage meets corporate compliance requirements
- Prepare automated controls and triggers to ensure the organization follows compliance framework (anonymization, pseudonymization and encryption) when developing systems/ products / services that prioritize privacy
- Effectively communicate program progress with varying audiences, and provide analysis to the stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Legal, BI, Studios, and BNET Product Teams to ensure that privacy by design is in-line with privacy standards
- Interface with developers, engineers and architects to ensure privacy-related support within systems and services
- Monitor industry best practices and trends
Qualifications
- Well-versed with relevant industry and organizational privacy standards
- Educational background or industry certifications in Information systems, privacy engineering, compliance or related field of study, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with a cross-functional team
- Experience applying fundamental security or privacy concepts to systems
- 4 years of experience with privacy, ideally working with project management, setting up processes and procedures or concentration in privacy engineering
- Strong project management skills with Agile
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to assess risk and impact to individuals from a privacy and data protection perspective
Preferred Skills
- CIPT Certification
- Experience translating regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA) into actionable technical specifications
- Knowledge of Privacy by Design and security standards
- Other privacy certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM, ISEB, ECPC-B DPO, privacy engineering
- Cloud computing and infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
- Software product deployment and pipelines
- Game industry technologies
- Jira
